Gold pocketwatch engraved "PM" on exterior of case. Believed to be the "gold watch marked P.M." that was bequeathed by General Peter Muhlenberg to his son Peter Jr. in his will of 1807 together with a pair of brass-barreled pistols which he had carried during the Battle of Germantown. |
